getquin and HaboFi both exist to show you your whole portfolio in one place. They take opposite routes to get there, and which one suits you depends almost entirely on how you feel about giving an app access to your accounts.

Where getquin is better
It updates itself. This is the big one, and it is not close. getquin’s free plan includes unlimited bank and broker connections, so a trade you place shows up without you doing anything. With HaboFi you export a file from your broker and upload it again when you want the picture refreshed. If you trade often and want the tracker to keep up on its own, getquin does that and we do not.
It covers your whole net worth. getquin pulls in bank accounts alongside investments, so current accounts and savings sit next to your portfolio. HaboFi tracks investments only.
Planning tools. getquin’s Wealth plan adds financial goals and a retirement plan. HaboFi has nothing equivalent.
It is the more established product, with native apps and a much larger user base. HaboFi is young and runs as an installable web app rather than an app-store app.
Where HaboFi is different
Nothing reads your accounts. Automatic sync works because an app holds ongoing access to your brokerage and bank. HaboFi works from a file you downloaded yourself: no credentials, no API key, and no connection that keeps running after you close the page. That is a real trade — you give up the automatic updates in exchange for it — and it is worth deciding deliberately rather than by default.
Your return against the index is free. The comparison of your actual return, adjusted for the money you added over time, against the S&P 500 is on the free plan. For why that adjustment matters, see real return when you keep adding money.
European broker exports are read directly, including DEGIRO files in Dutch and the other formats covered in the broker export guides.
Which one fits
- You want the tracker to update with no effort, and you are comfortable connecting your accounts: getquin.
- You want bank accounts and net worth in the same view: getquin.
- You would rather no app ever held access to your brokerage, and re-uploading a file occasionally is an acceptable price: HaboFi.
HaboFi is free to track with, with no position cap and no card. Upload a Trading 212, DEGIRO, XTB, IBKR, Revolut or eToro export and see your return against the S&P 500 — no broker login, and nothing that keeps reading your account afterwards.
